Placement Code of Conduct

The Early to Mid Level Upskilling in Film & TV training course is part of the Create Central Skills Accelerator programme,
made possible thanks to the support of the BFI, awarding National Lottery funding, and The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA).

This Placement Code of Conduct outlines our expectations of both learners and host placement companies during the placement.

Learners agree to:

  • Arrive on time for their placement.
  • Come willing to learn, engage and work to the expectations of the placement role.
  • Take responsibility for themselves whilst on their placement.
  • Make the best use of the placement opportunity.
  • Maintain a professional manner at all times.
  • Keep any sensitive information regarding the work of the Placement Company confidential.
  • Raise any concerns as soon as possible, either with their key contact on the placement or the Mission Accomplished Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Placement Company agrees to:

  • Give clear guidance on the expectation of our learner(s).
  • Treat our learner(s) with respect and dignity.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of our learner(s) whilst on their placement.
  • Keep all interactions professional.
  • Raise any concerns as soon as possible, either with the key contact at Mission Accomplished or the Mission Accomplished Designated Safeguarding Lead.

We all have rights and responsibilities. Regardless of race, colour, creed, age, gender, personal challenges,
physical abilities, location, or financial situation, we all share the same rights and responsibilities.
Mission Accomplished aims to treat everyone with fairness and respect and expects all those who work with us to do likewise.

All learners have a right to:

  • Be treated fairly and kindly.
  • Be treated as an individual.
  • Feel safe on their placement.
  • Express feelings and opinions sensibly, without fear of interruption or ridicule, and to ask questions if needed.
  • Be valued and respected.
