Managing up - Navigating workplace challenges

Introduction

We have Alex Oliver as a guest speaker to focus on Managing Up. As part of this we will cover toxic workplaces. In order to keep this session confidential, we ask that you all complete this questionnaire. Please note this questionnaire is anonymous, and responses will be shared with Alex to shape the session to fit the group's needs.

Session overview

This is an anonymous form which will inform the upcoming training session where we will explore strategies to recognise, navigate, and mitigate the challenges of the workplace, including how to manage a toxic boss. We will consider the common traits of toxic leadership and how these behaviours can impact productivity, well-being, and career growth. We will discuss coping mechanisms, and ways we can reframe and reset to better manage ourselves and the relationship, leading to opportunities for improved well-being, personal growth and happier outcomes.
