Learn to Lead in Film and TV: Step Up to HOD – Application form

Before we ask you to complete the application form we would like to ensure that you are eligible for this training course. Eligibility is a requirement of our funding and means that we are able to offer this training FREE of charge.

This course open to all residents in the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) region who are:

• Aged 19 years or over*
• Not currently in full or part time education
• Not taken another WMCA funded course in the current financial year (the financial year runs from September through to August)

For this course you also need to have 5+ years' Film or TV experience in any genre and be looking to Step up to Head of Department (HOD).

Mission Accomplished is particularly keen to receive applications from traditionally excluded groups specially those from:

• People from racialised identities
• People that are (d)Deaf, Disabled and/or Neurodivergent
• Those who are care-experienced.
• People from a refugee or disadvantaged migrant community
• Those from a Gypsy, Roma or Traveller community
• People from LGBTQI+ Communities
• People from a working class/low-income background (or if you have identified as such in the past)

This application form consists of 8 questions.

Questions 1 - 3 ask about your experience in Film and/or TV.

Questions 4 - 6 we recommend you take time to consider your answers. You can respond with either a written, video or audio answer. Written responses should be no more than 1000 characters. Recorded responses (audio or video) should be no longer than 2 minutes.
